When the water gets cold, it seems to trigger a feeding frenzy. So, if anglers choose to brave the conditions, great largemouth bass (and other species) fishing often awaits! This cold water (est 45 degrees) float tube adventure takes place in a four acre Missouri Department of Conservation pond in Henry County, Missouri in November, 2017. The video has two parts. In Part One, a Cavitron buzzbait entices explosive top water action in shallow water over hydrilla. In Part Two, hungry bass clobber 3-Inch Fat Shads in and around trees and brush. These two lures are typical of the many fine products you will find at the MegaStrike website including soft plastics, buzzbaits, spinnerbaits and more. Be sure to check it out:

As the gateway to Nationals, the Florida B.A.S.S. Nation High School State Championship was the biggest tournament we’ve fished all year. We stay out on Lake Harris April 7-9. During prefishing we weren’t really able to find anything where we knew we could get big bites, but we figured out how we could get a limit quickly. Day one of the tournament we weighed in 9.11 lbs and were sitting in the mid 20s. Cole and his partner Kobee sat in second after day one. We were able to get a limit early in the morning, but never got any bigger bites to improve our bag. Day two we were able to repeat what we did on day one and get a limit early, but again we were unable to get big bites. Cole and Kobee finished in 5th! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 100 SUBS!!! We will be down on Okeechobee May 6-7, so hopefully we will be able to get to nationals through there. Thanks for watching! Don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE and help me reach 200 subs!
We went exploring some SECRET backwoods ponds in the great state on Nebraska. We found some JUICY bass! I hope you all enjoy!

Chatterbait fishing for bass has been epic on Lake Okeechobee and there are 2 rod and reel combos you have to have to catch more fish when you’re out at the lake. The first is a more open water rod and reel paired with flourocarbon and the other is a combo more geared towards bass using heavy cover in shallower water. Each rod and reel setup has it’s place when fishing for bass and we break down in 2 parts what you need – baits, reels, rods, and line – as well as how to use these setups technique and presentation wise to catch more fish your next trip to Lake Okeechobee.

First BASS Nation Team Championship event is in the books. Lake Charlevoix fished relatively tough and we didn’t figure out our pattern until the waning hours of the practice day on Saturday.
We found our fish on beds towards the East end of Lake Charlevoix in 8 feet of water, but unfortunately we didn’t have enough fish marked on beds to run specific beds the entire day. The wind and rain on tournament day made beds tough to spot, so we just went fishing around 10 AM once the rain started and ended up with 12.99 lbs and a 36th place finish.
