Most people will think spinnerbaits, dropshots, or even blade baits when it comes to really cold water fishing for bass. While those do work, one should never overlook the jig, as it truly is a year round fish catcher. Even with the water temperature about 44 degrees, you can still catch them dragging your favorite jig!

  1. I caught my pb 7lb 11oz on a black n blue football with a brush hog trailer. I call it old faithful in colder water.
