  1. The animals such as chickens and cows are processed fully to be consumed as food if you want to go that route. Throwing a fish in from too high up will result in a wounded animal in some cases and therefore the fish will die hours later…meaning the death will be useless to anyone. Put them in the water like a sportsman dude, period.

  2. If he's not having a hard battle with a fish where the fish is worn out, dropping it in the water and setting it in the water doesn't make a difference. If he was throwing them or tossing them higher, I'd understand. But by saying what he is doing is wrong, then more than half of bass anglers aren't true sportsman.

  3. You fish on the CA delta right? Do you recommend any spots in particular or any types of weeds or grass to look for to fish on? I want to get out to the delta but I'm not sure where to begin other than docks and from shore.

  4. I suppose if you want to be an extremist on the issue then yes. You declare my view as a double standard but on the contrary, my point is to act like you know a thing or two about sportsmanship. If you want to nit pick technicalities on what could be or is a "double standard" then that is your prerogative. The act of hooking a fish for sport requires a higher ethical responsibility than those who fish for food. In neither case is blatant disregard to the fish as a living thing acceptable.

  5. I thought we were talking about "respect for the fish", not sportsmanship. I'm sure a fish wouldn't care either way since it is being hooked in both cases. And if anything, you're the one nitpicking, complaining about the small detail that is the method of release rather than the (arguably) bigger issue which is fishing in general. But if you happen to also think that it's ok to eat some animals but not others… then I understand – you have double standards.

  6. Somehow you misread everything and went off on a tangent that I will not follow. You do your thing, and I'll do mine. Ethics is knowing the difference between what you have a right to do, and what IS right to do. Everything we do including fishing requires ethical behavior, either accept that fact or continue to act like a belligerent.

  8. My point was and still is the same. You're just too clouded by your own opinion to see it. Ironically, bringing ethics in just hurts your argument. If you say hooking a fish (which is a choice by the way) is right, but releasing it in a certain manner is wrong… then you have a double standard – that's all I was saying. It was a nice chat. I'll leave you with a quote to ponder about: "There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so."

  9. That's still only a job for 8-12 pound though… although it looks like heavier gear is much more common in America than it is in Aus,most people here fish weedbeds on 4lb with a leader to pull the weed.

  10. This guy is joke… Black Dog.. like what is that? lol I mean he knows how to fish but he handles fish like an asshole and is definitely a complete douche bag

  11. I agree with you, I live in America, but I love using my small rod and reel with 4 lb test line with a higher lb leader when going bass fishing

  12. seriously, it's called being a fisherMAN not a little bitch. Would he have been more gentle if he would have put a skirt on them fish and had a little tea party with them. He threw them back in the water, what more does this Axel guy need. It's not like he ripped out their eyes for fun.

  13. I looked at your youtube history and you seem to like bashing people over the internet, probably makes you feel better about your pathetic life. Do us all a favor and kill yourself. We don't need your offspring floating around the population dumbing down the world. That is all.

  14. from seeing that bobber going down for your first bluegill when you were little, to reeling in that big 230 pound tarpon for an hour, fishing is always a fun thing to do. like if you agree.
