Which is better the zoom trick worm or the yamamoto senko? Ill let you decide. In this video I show different tips and techniques that many anglers use these worms for and why I use them. Underwater footage is a great resource to understand just WHY fish are or are not eating what your throwing at them. Feel free to leave comments on which one you think is better.

  1. I have both the Senko and a Zoom Mag II worms, and I find that the Zoom worm is way more weightless than the Senko. Not sure why anyone would choose the heavier worm over the lighter worm, where as the lighter worm swims through the water and doesn't just sink straight down, unless you want it to. I have been fishing for less than a year and it seems that the Zoom worm is the go to for most. Comments on this video prove that to.

  2. I've fished a blue/black Senko all summer – two ways – TX rigged with the absolute smallest bullet weight I can find and peg it or if the bite is slow, switch to a drop shot and just toss it out, tighten the line and jiggle it. No takers, then I hop it. Other than a swim jig, it's literally the only bait I've used or needed in three months.

  3. main thing you could of done better was throwing them both weightless Texas rig and showing them both whacky rigged 🙂 good video

  4. I've caught more fish on a weightless trick worm than anything else. a watermelon seed trick worm is my go to if I'm not throwing a frog or jig.

  5. Senkos are built for weightless presentations. Shakey heads aren't the ideal way to use them. Cool vid!!!

  6. you really can't compare these two lures fairly. size, shape and salt content among other things are large factors in how these lures differ. those same factors are what make each one better at specific techniques. you didn't rig either lure in the fashion it is known for.

  7. I never use shaky head senko… Only texas rig weightless or wacky rig w Senko. Shaky head or Texas rig with bullet weight with trick worm.

  8. Awesome video and product great tips. We always use the gary senkos on a 3/0 or 4/0 offset worm hook with no weight and I managed to catch a 2lb largemouth bass on a green pumpkin senko

  9. I like using senkos weightless or Texas rigged. I tend to catch more fish on it. Now the trick worm for drop shotting, wacky rigged or shaky head. Good video

  10. I like using senkos weightless or Texas rigged. I tend to catch more fish on it. Now the trick worm for drop shotting, wacky rigged or shaky head. Good video
