Spawning Bass Tips! Muddy Water? Cold Water? No Problem!

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7yoesZRJQ8&w=640&h=480]

Forget the old rules! This isn’t about white baits and spawning coves! Muddy Water? Cold Water? Get ready!! its about finding bass before everyone else, in places no one else looks, and catching fish when no one else even knows the spawn is happening!

We all grew up reading about how to catch bass during the spawn. We don’t need to cover the basics again (we already did that in previous videos). Today we want to completely change the way you approach spawning fish.

  1. That false spawn thing happened in mid september to me at my local shallow 6 inch visibility of water lake in Washington state. I flipped this brush pile and my claws on my jig got torn off three times and then I finally hooked it and it was a 6lber and it's tail was all beat up and bloody like it was making a bed.

  2. I lve in mass and fish a lot of ponds because I know how to catch those fish I live 15 mins from the Ct river and oxbow marina that flows into the Ct river where and how should target spawning bass there or bass or post spawn

  3. One of the lakes I fish is full of standing timber and its not uncommon to find them bedding on the treetops. Ive found beds over 20ft of water before almost in the middle of the lake!

  4. I caught a 7 pound large mouth plus about 30 other fish on flat sided blue gill square bill yesterday off an interstate rock wall. She was fat and full of eggs, red tail and bottom fin was red from fanning, off boulders in about 10 feet of water. Unpredictable bite that worked out. I’m in NC by the way and these guys techs, all the way in CA work for me 2700 miles away. Love the videos

  5. I’m new to bass fishing. Living in Missouri all my life I grew up catfishing. Any books or resources I could check out to learn more about Missouri bass fishing would help a lot.

  6. Can you guys PLEASE make a finesse jig video??? I recently started using them when big bulky jigs just weren’t working but I still wanted that jig profile. Bait buffet makes an AWESOME finesse jig with a color called mudbug

  7. I always watch these fishing vids with info on ponds and lakes but when will we have some vids on rivers? Like here in Fl we have the St. Johns or the Wekiva River and so forth. I know in my experiences river bass are tougher to catch and seem a lot smarter than lake or pond bass. That's just my opinion.

  8. i found them spawning on the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket that was upside down. and in an umbrella that had blown in the water

  9. great job as always. im on ft louden knoxville tn next years bass masters host. i did well during pre spawn and won a few tournaments but now i cant get back on them. i keep thinking they went on in to extream shallow but im striking out again and again. how do i search and get back on fish ty

  10. Guys. I can’t stress enough at what a great video this is. I learned some valuable information especially at 5:38 and 6:16. Kills me to realize I’ve been leaving the big girls on the beds.
    Thank you for the vid

  11. This video literally covers my exact situation in north Texas right now. Thank you👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
