Boy Scouts fishing pro Tom Redington explains where to look for largemouth bass in the spring and how to catch those shallow spring bass. With big largemouth bass moving shallow to spawn in the spring, Tom shows how to catch bass during warming trends and also where to find bass after cold fronts slow down the bite.

Tom Redington is an FLW Tour pro, host of “Big Bass Battle” on Sportsman Channel and WFN, and a trophy bass guide on Lake Fork. More info about Tom and articles and videos featuring him at www.LakeForkGuideTrips.com

  1. Mostly when I bass fish in the spring and summer, On the cold or hot days I use a rooster tail spinner, It seems to work and get the fish in shallow and in deep.
