Chris Lane talks about looking for bait on warming banks around sunshine in the colder months of the year. We recently shared a boat with him while the air temperatures were well below freezing and the water temps were dipping into the 40s. Here are his tips about combatting the tough winter bite for bass.
FLW Castrol pro Mike Surman lays out a day on the lake during the fall transition period on Lake Okeechobee. Water is a bit higher than normal and the late fall transition due to Florida’s warmer weather can make for some tricky bass fishing. Here’s how he approached the day and what baits he used to catch them.
Matt Allen and Tim Little of TacticalBassin discuss the best fishing lures to use during the Winter transition. As bass head for deep water these baits will help you continue to catch them throughout the cold Winter months. Winter bass fishing can be a lot of fun if you adapt to the cold weather and slower bass behavior.
