Frog Fishing – Best way to catch frogs
Here is the best way I have found for catching frogs. Used to do this at home in our pond when I was younger and found it is much more fun and easier than gigging or using a gun. You can have fun and don’t have to wade in the water. We did run across two cotton mouths while fishing so glad I wasn’t in the water. We missed a few and you have to really work it or they can spit it out quickly. I have always found that a weedless worm hookup or top water lure if you are not in the weeds work really well. Just plop it in front of them and wiggle it a little.

I use the Audio Technica AT2020 XLR because I wanted to be able to record music occasionally. If you do not need that then you could just go straight for the USB version and wouldn’t need the phantom power or extra cables. The external recorder is a must when using a cell phone and will help with audio sync when editing.
